On the morning of the battle in the valley of Badr, the Muslim army and the Quraysh army faced each other. The Muslims, led by Prophet Muhammad, had about 313 fighters, while the Quraysh from Mecca brought nearly one thousand.

The Muslims positioned themselves near the wells and held their formation with strong discipline. When the fighting began, they stayed organized and followed their strategy carefully. Meanwhile, the Quraysh lines began to break and lose control.
